From there, you can adjust a variety of filters to identify companies founded under specific circumstances. In this example, we will look at Biotechnology – Therapeutics and Diagnostics companies that were recently founded as academic spin-offs.

First, we will choose “Biotechnology – Therapeutics and Diagnostics” as the company sector.

Scrolling down, you will find the extendable “Business model, customer segments & employees” section, which allows you to filter for a specific foundation source.
