The biotechnology venture sector faced over a 90% decrease in its financing value and a drop of 80% in financing rounds. Over the last three years the remarkable decrease in investments was continuing in 2014. But for the first half of 2015 (until May 2015) the number of investments in biotech ventures has increased by 100%. This is in comparison to the whole year of 2014 which consisted of a 4 times higher amount in financing value.
